 Wendy Emerson is an Oklahoma based contemporary metal jewelry artist, specializing in fold forming techniques and metalwork.

Wendy’s designs have been published in Bead Trends Magazine, gifted in celebrity swag bags at major award events in Hollywood, New York, Nashville and France in addition to appearing in the TV series, “The Vampire Diaries” on the CW network.

She’s currently working on incorporating her metalwork with recycled objects and natural fibers to create distinctive wearable art pieces.

Kathy has been creating with beads for over 15 years.  She started using beads in elaborate historic crochet doll costumes.  Kathy then discovered beaded ornament covers.  She still specializes in ornaments but also designs jewelry. 

Kathy has been teaching Beadweaving for the last 8 years.  Her first class was a request from a friend to teach a bracelet design she had made.  She taught for several years in Columbus Ohio before moving to Oklahoma.  She now teaches Beadweaving at a local shop in Midwest City Oklahoma.  Her classes include all levels of jewelry and ornaments.  She has been selected to teach at the Bead and Button Show 2012.

Kathy’s award winning designs include several ribbons at the 2010, 2011 and 2013 Oklahoma State Fair.  Her “Wagon Wheels” necklace was awarded Best of Show –Beadwork Division in 2011.  She also was first place in the Sova Enterprises Beaded Bead contest with her “Green Goddess necklace.
